LIVING HOPE JAMAICA ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME
In an effort to improve the social and economic status of our most needy Jamaican Families, Living Hope Jamaica has embarked on a special economic partnership programme to address the basic needs of families in the lower socio-economic sector. Families who benefit from this programme are those whose heads of household are unemployed. This Partnership helps them find sustainable ways to take care of their very basic needs such as food, shelter, education, clothing.
The Programme has the following features:
- A needs analysis is conducted with each family who requests assistance. Eligibility is determined by the level of need.
- Recipients of economic grants will have submitted a viable economic project, assessed by a business development expert, as well as, a team of economic, financial and legal advisors.
- Heads of households for selected families will receive products (grants) equivalent of between $10,000.00 and $30,000.00
- A monitoring officer is assigned to each loan recipient to track the development of the project and give advice when necessary.
- Successful Grantees are encouraged to give back to the Programmes in ways that will help to sustain it, so that other families may benefit.
